National Disaster Training Program (NDTP)
Through the generosity of an endowment fund, The Salvation Army has developed a full and very detailed training program, the National Disaster Training Program (NDTP). It consists of three levels, covering the diverse service potential of our agency. The curriculum is listed as follows:
Introductory Training Courses:

- Disaster Response and Recovery Planning

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
CISM is a comprehensive, integrative, multicomponent crisis intervention system. CISM consists of multiple crisis intervention components, which functionally span the entire temporal spectrum of a crisis. CISM interventions range from the pre-crisis phase through the acute crisis phase, and into the post-crisis phase.
