You are in: Correctional Programs/Residential
The Correctional Programs/Residential program provides residential services and counselling support to individuals on conditional release from Federal Institutions. In partnership with Correctional Services Canada (CSC), the program enrolls up to 30 clients at a time, helps them address issues, and prepares them for a safe re-integration into the community. Over the course of a year, the program provides approximately 9,100 bed-days. The Correctional Programs/Residential program staff are part of a case management team that works together with CSC and other professionals to plan and supervise a safe and successful reintegration of clients into the community. There are ten other facilities in the Lower Mainland contracted to provide similar basic services through CSC, and an additional eight facilities in other areas of the province. Only four other agencies in the province can provide intense substance abuse counseling to this client base, and few other agencies can provide the same structure and supervision to this client base.
